What is Manuscript Hander?
The MH is functionally integrated to provide solutions from a manuscript submission to final publications, all in one place. A single package of MH will provide individual panel for Authors, Reviewers, Editors, Associate Editors, Editorial Office and Publishers. Each of these individuals will be able to handle all their tasks independently and/or integrated manners, whatever and wherever are needed. Each panel is supported with supportive resources in both detailed and integrated PDFs and in audio-video tutorials. You can perform any role without prior logging out from one role in any journal.

Manuscript Handler is intended for small-to-large publishers and institutions. Editors or manager of individual journals can benefit from cutting-edge functionalities of Manuscript Handler.
Panels within Manuscript Handler
The Manuscript Handler consists of following main panels and short description of the functionalities in each panel is provided.
Editor (Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor) Panel:
- Editor can view the manuscripts, cover letters and individual associated figures and all those files submitted by the Authors.
- Can select reviewers from either suggested by Authors, can create new account, can select from Editorial Board from the same panel with simple one click option.
- Can forward the manuscript to Associate Editors for performing the same roles as Editor.
- Editor can take this manuscript back from Associate Editor anytime with prior notification or post-drawn information.
- Can add unlimited Editor or Associate Editors against any journal.
- Associate Editor can send the assigned manuscript back to Editor without processing for review.
- Editor/Associate Editors can select the number of reviewers required to make a decision.
- The invited reviewers will be notified automatically and the status about Downloaded, Accepted or Declined invitation is updated in Editor/Associate Editors Panel.
- Each of these functions from Selection of Reviewers to Final Decision is listed with all current number of manuscripts.
- Can directly communicate with the Authors and Reviewers with possibilities to communicate back.
- The reports of all reviewers can be included, excluded or edited by the Editor/Associate Editors. All these reports and decision texts change automatically with the nature of recommendations, Accepted, Accepted with Major Revision, Accepted with Minor Revision or Rejected.
- The final manuscript is stored within Editor's Panel for record and notified to Editorial Office for necessary actions.
- These listed functions are only few of the roles an Editor or Associate Editors can perform
Editorial Office Panel:
- Editorial Office is the main deriver of Manuscript Handler for a publisher or for an individual journal.
- Can communicate back to Authors for acquisition of missing files or can forward the manuscript to Editors.
- Editorial Office can see the progress of each stage of the manuscript wherever it is, from submitted to the accepted manuscript, either in Total Assignment or Per Journal Assignment menu. You just have to select the journal and all manuscripts will be displayed with all statuses in a list.
- Editorial Office can communicate to every Editor, Associate editor, and Reviewer any time and can take the manuscript backward or move forward with the notification of associated roles.
- Editorial Office can configure all these roles and allow or block the role of any individual.
- Accepted manuscripts can be re-communicated with Authors if needed or can directly pass-on to the Publisher. Again, with live and real-time view of status updates.
- Assignment of DOI, table of contents, author index, subject index, all in one role.
- These are very few roles out of myriad an Editorial Office can perform.
Authors Panel:
- Each Author's Panel is subdivided into New Submissions, Revisions, Decisions, Publications and Author's Resources. Every sub-panel provides comprehensive step-by-step progress of the manuscript. Author's Resources gives you detailed instructions about the entire Author's Panel, both in interactive PDF and in audio-video formats.
- An easy and yet professional online submission of all the files. These files include main manuscripts document, figures, cover letters, copyright, and inclusion or exclusion of reviewers.
- All the submitted files will be converted into PDF automatically, allowing authors to view and confirm their files accuracy before final submission.
- Submissions will automatically notified to Editorial Office.
- Possibilities for a flexible, configurable and simplified version of Author's Panel.
- Corresponding Author is notified on almost every step of manuscript progress.
Reviewers Panel:
- The invited reviewers are given option to Accept or Decline the invitations and the corresponding information is stored in Editor/Associate Editor’s Panel.
- A direct link to go to Reviewers Panel without needing any credentials.
- Can fill configurable and easy to use Reviewer’s Report to either save for later use or to submit directly, with possibility to attach documents.
- Can request extension of the deadline directly from the Edit within the system
- The submitted report is saved permanently in Reviewer’s Panel for record.
- Reviewers can download Reviewer’s Certificate directly from their panels.
Publisher Panel:
- Publisher will receive notification once a manuscript is sent to production.
- Can download the latest and revised manuscript files for article formatting.
- The formatted proof can be uploaded against the same title and sent to Authors for any possible corrections or proof reading using one click online system within Publisher's Panel.
- The final articles are published on the journal's website.
- Can communicate the publication status to corresponding authors and to authors of the manuscript.
